Oh my gosh, get this: I think that Javier and I are actually going away this weekend. I mean, alone!! Ajani, the best babysitter in the world, is on deck and warming up for the weekend all-kids-all-the-time marathon, I've rented a car, I have a confirm from Javi that he won't be getting cold feet on the way out of town. I'm giddy with disbelief. Of course, we haven't left yet, and WHO KNOWS what dark forces are already gathering to kaibosh our plans. Just to be clear on this: Javier and I have NEVER BEEN AWAY ALONE TOGETHER SINCE GALEN WAS BORN. Five years really is too long -- considering that we've been married only seven... Now I just wonder what we'll talk about...
