Javi leaves today... His slide show for the workshop is so beautiful, and his approach is so interesting! Hopefully we will be able to put "the highlights" up so that everyone can enjoy.
Good news: yesterday Javier finally got into the INS to get his passport stamped. It's amazing the difference a congressman makes! This time, rather than being herded like errant goats through the building, he was given special access through a "dignitaries" entrance, and ushered up to an exclusive floor where his passport was stamped, and was offered a personal apology for the loss of his file, and subsequent inactivity and rudeness on the part of the INS. Let's just hope that his green card really arrives this time!
But for now Javier has everything ready to go, and will leave this afternoon -- one week! :-( We will miss him...
